José Alfredo Cruz Guimarães graduated from Universidade Católica de Salvador in 1964 and is a lawyer specializing in Civil Procedure and in Insurance, Consumer and Labor Law. He acted as a Judge for the Tribunal Regional do Trabalho da 5ª Região (Regional Labor Court of the 5th Region), as Prosecutor of Município de Salvador (Salvador’s City), integrated the Bahia section of Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil (Brazilian Order of Lawyers - OAB). He is also a founding member of Instituto Brasileiro de Direito Municipal (Brazilian Institute of Municipal Law) and a member of the following institutes: Instituto Comparado Luso-Brasileiro (Portuguese-Brazilian Institute for Compared Law), Instituto dos Advogados da Bahia (Attorneys Institute of Bahia) and “Association Internationale des Droits des Assurances” (AIDA).
He has several works published in nationwide magazines and approved thesis in legal congresses of the State of Bahia.

She graduated from Universidade Católica de Salvador in1995, has also accomplished extension courses of Consumer Law, Labor and Civil Procedure and refresher course in Law. Currently is as an public lawyer servant at Petrobrás S/A.
She has already actuated as a member of the Regional Council of OAB -Bahia (Brazilian Order of Lawyers).
